Does "no added sugar" mean the bars are sugar-free?
When a product is labeled "No added sugar," it means that it does not contain refined sugar or sugar from sugarcane. However, it may still have natural sweeteners like dates, which are a healthier alternative to processed sugar with a low glycemic index. Other sugar-free bars may also use substitute sweeteners like maltitol, stevia, monk fruit or fucto-oligo-saccharides, which may cause bloating. When it comes to Freely bars, we derive all the sweetness from dates that are unrefined and rich in fiber and antioxidants and each bar just has less than 1 and half dates per bar. Isn’t that sweet?!
Is your product suitable for diabetic?
It is advisable to consult a doctor before consuming any product to minimize risk. Our chocolate bar does not contain any added sugar, only natural sugar from just 1 and half dates per bar.
What is special about your freely date-sweetened protein bar?
Dates, as you know, are naturally sweet and contain natural fiber and micro-nutrients like magnesium, potassium, and iron. Typical chocolates are usually sweetened with harmful artificial sweeteners or refined sugar, which has a high glycemic index and no fiber. We source cocoa beans that pair perfectly with dates, so our real chocolate layered protein snack bar tastes similar to the real deal. Since dates are fibrous, we grind our chocolate for almost four times as long as regular chocolate.
What is this bar, and is it for me?
Our Freely bar is a unique blend of a protein bar and a chocolate bar that satisfies sweet cravings. Each bar is sweetened with 1 and half dates, 10g protein, blend of nut butters, non-GMO, and is gluten and soy free. We use simple, clean ingredients and do not use any artificial preservatives, zero calorie sweetners. Hence, we say ‘Snack Freely’.
How many calories per bar?
Each bar has around 230 calories, which is about 11% of your daily requirement. The bar is nutritionally dense and can keep you feeling full, so it is an excellent alternative to other junk snacks.

How can I store my layers protein snack bar?
Hey there! You should keep your chocolate in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight, such as your fridge or kitchen pantry when its below 22°C. Please keep in mind that our chocolate doesn't have any stabilizers or preservatives, so it can melt above 22°C.
Should I refrigerate my bars?
Yes, we recommend refrigerating them in the summer or when the temperature is above 22°c. Explore your ideal bar preference: Fresh and cold from the fridge or leisurely room temperature – your mood, your vibe!
How do you ship these bars in warm weather?
Great question! We use express shipping with ice packs and insulation. We take all the care we can to beat the heat.
My ice pack arrived warm, is that okay?
Yes, that's completely okay! Ice packs begin to melt as soon as they depart our packing facility, so it's normal for them to arrive warm. As long as your chocolate is not melted, you're good to go.
How can I ensure that my chocolate doesn't melt?
The most common reason for melted chocolate is that it's left outside in hot environment. To prevent this, we recommend bringing your package inside within an hour of delivery and storing it in a cool and dry place below 22°C. If it's hot outside, please refrigerate the package.
What are the white spots/whitish layer on my bar? is it safe?
When things get humid and temperatures fluctuate, our chocolate can bloom with a whitish layer or spots. It can be either fat bloom or sugar bloom. This proves that our bars are free from artificial ingredients. (It's like nature's own quality check!) So, it's still perfectly yummy and safe to munch on. Just remember, to store it in cool and dry place below 22° celsius or in fridge if its hot outside.
