From where do you source your cocoa?
We source the finest organic cocoa beans from lush farms of south India for rich, bold flavours. Because when you use way less sugar and never alkalize, you can't hide low quality cocoa with sweetness.
Why did you choose dates as a sweetener?
Dates provide natural sweetness along with fiber and minerals, which means: A gentler sweetness, No sharp sugar spikes, Better overall satisfaction. They help chocolate feel indulgent without the crash.
Does Freely protein chocolate taste like a protein bar?
No — and that’s intentional. Freely protein chocolate tastes like real chocolate, not a protein bar pretending to be one.

We make real chocolate using cocoa nibs and pure cocoa butter, swapped refined sugar with whole date powder, and added clean whey protein isolate for a more balanced, lasting experience. Does "no added sugar" mean the bars are sugar-free?
When a product is labeled "No added sugar," it means that it does not contain refined sugar or sugar from sugarcane. However, it may still have natural sweeteners like dates, which are a healthier alternative to processed sugar with a low glycemic index. Other sugar-free bars may also use substitute sweeteners like maltitol, stevia, monk fruit or fucto-oligo-saccharides, which may cause bloating. When it comes to Freely bars, we derive all the sweetness from dates that are unrefined and rich in fiber and antioxidants. Isn’t that sweet?!
Is your product suitable for diabetic?
It is advisable to consult a doctor before consuming any product to minimize risk. Our chocolate bars does not contain any added sugar, only natural sugar from just dates that too less than half total sugars than leading competitors.
Do you test Freely Protein Chocolate for heavy metals?
Yes. Freely protein chocolates are independently tested by NABL-accredited labs for heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic.They meet Indian food safety standards and stay within accepted safety limits.
How should I store the chocolate?
Store in cool and dry place below 20 degree celsius, away from direct sunlight.
How do you ship these bars in warm weather?
Great question! We use express shipping with ice packs and insulation. We take all the care we can to beat the heat.
My ice pack arrived warm, is that okay?
Yes, that's completely okay! Ice packs begin to melt as soon as they depart our packing facility, so it's normal for them to arrive warm. As long as your chocolate is not melted, you're good to go.
How can I ensure that my chocolate doesn't melt?
The most common reason for melted chocolate is that it's left outside in hot environment. To prevent this, we recommend bringing your package inside within an hour of delivery and storing it in a cool and dry place below 20°C. If it's hot outside, please refrigerate the bars.
What are the white spots/whitish layer on my bar? is it safe?
When things get humid and temperatures fluctuate, our chocolate can bloom with a whitish layer or spots. It can be either fat bloom or sugar bloom. This proves that our bars are free from artificial ingredients. (It's like nature's own quality check!) So, it's still perfectly yummy and safe to munch on. Just remember, to store it in cool and dry place below 20° celsius or in fridge if it's hot outside.
